Rescū Technologies, Inc. ("Rescū," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Rescū platform at rescu.app and through our mobile applications. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our platform, join our waitlist, submit an operator application, or otherwise interact with us.
By using the Rescū platform, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our platform.
Information you provide directly
- Account information — Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account
- Waitlist information — Name, email address, and Las Vegas area when you join our pre-launch waitlist
- Operator application information — Name, email, phone number, vehicle description, years of experience, and any documents you submit during operator onboarding
- Contact form submissions — Name, email address, subject, and message content when you contact us
- Payment information — Payment card details collected and processed by Stripe. Rescū does not store complete card numbers on our servers
- Vehicle information — Vehicle make, model, year, and license plate when provided for service requests
Information collected automatically
- Location data — GPS coordinates and location information when you use the mobile app to request services or when an Operator is active on the platform. Location data is used to connect you with nearby Operators and to facilitate service delivery
- Device information — Device type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers
- Usage data — Pages visited, features used, time spent, and actions taken within the platform
- Log data — IP address, browser type, referring pages, and access timestamps
- Cookies and similar technologies — As described in our Cookie Policy
Information from third parties
- Payment processors — Transaction confirmations and payment status from Stripe
- Identity verification — Document verification data when operators submit identification for onboarding review
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing the platform — To operate, maintain, and improve the Rescū platform and its features
- Connecting drivers and operators — To match service requests with available operators based on location and availability
- Processing payments — To charge drivers for completed services and pay operators their earned commissions
- Communications — To send service confirmations, receipts, account notifications, and platform updates
- Waitlist management — To notify waitlist members when Rescū launches in Las Vegas and to communicate founding member benefits
- Operator onboarding — To review operator applications and manage the onboarding process
- Customer support — To respond to your questions, resolve disputes, and provide assistance
- Safety and security — To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
- Legal compliance — To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process
- Platform improvement — To analyze usage patterns, conduct research, and improve our services
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share your information in the following circumstances:
- Between drivers and operators — When a service request is accepted, we share relevant information between the driver and operator to facilitate the service. This may include first name, vehicle information, and location. We do not share personal phone numbers between drivers and operators — communication happens through our in-app messaging system
- Service providers — We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the platform, including Firebase (data storage and infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), and Google (mapping and analytics). These providers are contractually required to protect your information
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rescū, our users, or the public
- Business transfers — If Rescū is acquired, merged, or sells its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change
- With your consent — We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent
5. Third-Party Services
The Rescū platform uses the following third-party services that may collect and process your data:
Google Firebase
We use Google Firebase for database storage, authentication, and hosting. Firebase collects certain usage data and stores information submitted through our platform. Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Stripe
We use Stripe for payment processing. When you enter payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe's servers. Rescū does not store complete card numbers. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy available at stripe.com/privacy.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps APIs for location services, routing, and mapping within the platform. Your location data may be transmitted to Google for these purposes. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods include:
- Account information — Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure
- Waitlist data — Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until Rescū's launch program concludes
- Transaction records — Retained for a minimum of 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes
- Location data — Active GPS data is retained for the duration of a service request. Historical location data may be retained for safety, dispute resolution, and service improvement purposes
- Contact form submissions — Retained for a reasonable period to respond to inquiries and for recordkeeping
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit using TLS, secure storage through Google Firebase infrastructure, and access controls limiting who within Rescū can access personal data.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at rescuapp9@gmail.com.
8. Children's Privacy
The Rescū platform is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete that information promptly.
9. Nevada and California Privacy Rights
Nevada residents
Nevada Senate Bill 220 provides Nevada consumers the right to opt out of the sale of certain personal information. Rescū does not sell personal information to third parties as defined under Nevada law. If you have questions about our data practices, contact us at rescuapp9@gmail.com.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with the following rights:
- Right to know — The right to request information about what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell

- Right to opt out — The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. Rescū does not sell personal information
- Right to non-discrimination — The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights
